Los Angeles-Houston, Ca.-Tx., United States
Tyrone’s debut film, the documentary 8 Wheels and Some Soul Brotha Music, was the inspiration for the Fox feature film ROLL BOUNCE, starring Bow-Wow and Nick Cannon. Tyrone was hired as associate producer and consultant for the movie and worked closely with director Malcolm Lee and producers Bob Teitel and George Tillman. 8 Wheels went on to win multiple film festival awards during its release in 2005. As well Tyrone produced, consulted and participated in music videos with roller-skating. Later he produced the hot urban film 4 Life, a straight to DVD feature that starred Wood Harris and Elise Neal and in 2009 his documentary film Ruffnecks - Life On The Other Side Of The Pump, will be released. Tyrone recently completed line producing the feature film “The Company We Keep” for Kensington Media and was the unit production manager for the documentary One Night In Vegas for ESPN directed by Reggie Rock Bythewood. Presently Tyrone is producing a feature, TROOP 242, in Houston where he is also a visiting Associate Professor of Film.
